Island Activities

Island Activities

Kayaks, boats, snorkelling at Lovers Cove, and more.

Kayaks

Two yellow kayaks near the barge jetty are available for use. Before heading out, ensure the plugs are securely in place to prevent water entering. Lifejackets must be worn at all times. Let someone on the island know who's going out, where you're paddling to and your expected return time. If you don't return at that time, an alarm will be raised. Stay safe and enjoy the water responsibly.

Staff Boat

A staff boat is available for use by team members who have a current marine licence (Recreational Marine Driver Licence) or greater. After use, wash it down, tidy up, refuel and pay finance for fuel used. See the General Manager for boat orientation and safety paperwork.

Top of the Island Walk

Experience the walk across the top of the island from the Chapel to Lovers Cove.

South Molle

Enjoy a day on an uninhabited island — swim and hike, take a picnic, or camp for the night. The General Manager will drop you off and collect you as arranged.

Lovers Cove

You're welcome to visit Lovers Cove to snorkel outside of peak guest times (not sunset). No glass permitted in this area (including seating). Be mindful of noise — staff rooms overlook this area. Alcohol is not to be consumed. If the area is busy with guests, use your initiative and return at a quieter time. Please obtain a resort pass from People & Culture.

Tennis Courts

Tennis courts may be used. Please ensure guests are given priority and courts are vacated if guests are waiting to play.

Cinema

A competent and responsible person is to be nominated to ensure equipment is packed up properly. Approval is sought from either the General Manager or Director of People & Culture. Cinema has been used for Mario Kart nights as well as movies.
